Mr. Allred has over 30 years of experience in Human Resources Management and Labor Relations. He serves as the Senior Manager of Labor Relations and is responsible for managing the labor relations function at AFS and administration of the collective bargaining agreement between AFS and its 3,000+ employees represented by IAM Local Lodge 2003.
He has negotiated and administered labor agreements with most of the major unions in the United States and Canada, including the IAM. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with concentration in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from Auburn University.
Prior to joining AFS he worked in human resources and labor relations for business units of United States Steel and Lockheed Martin. He also worked over 22 years in various human resources and labor relations roles for CSX Transportation, his last assignment being Senior Director of Labor Relations. He is a native of Birmingham, Alabama and is married to Pam Capps Allred.
