AMSS

Army Fleet Support has over 200 employees who work throughout the 23 specialty shops and main motor pool which make up the Aviation Maintenance Support Shops (AMSS) on Fort Rucker. AMSS is a centralized support facility which provides inspection, aviation intermediate maintenance repair (AVIM), limited depot repair and complete Depot level upon approval, modification of aircraft parts and components, National Maintenance Program workload, local manufacture of parts and equipment, and on site support for aircraft maintenance operations to satellite units.  Additionally, limited maintenance on assigned buildings is performed.
